Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Soho Express Transportation. By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you disagree with any portion of these terms and conditions, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

Reservations and Confirmation

Your reservation is considered confirmed only after it has been approved by one of our representatives and a confirmation email has been sent to you. Please review your confirmation for any necessary adjustments, such as date, time, flight information, drop-off, or hotel information.

Payment and Receipts

The total amount of the reservation will be processed, and you will receive a payment receipt with confirmation. All payments and deposits are fully refundable, except for processing fees, if cancellation is made within the specified time frames.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Lux Sedans & SUVs: Cancellations made 12 hours before the reservation will receive a full refund minus the processing fee.
  • Mercedes Executive Sprinters & Sprinter Jet vans: Cancellations made 36 hours prior to the reservation will receive a full refund, minus the processing fee.
  • Sedan/SUV Cancellations: A 25% cancellation fee will apply if the reservation is canceled within 12 hours of the scheduled pickup time.
  • Sprinter Vans/Limo Cancellations: A 50% cancellation fee applies if canceled within 36 hours of pickup. Otherwise, a full cancellation charge will be applicable.
  • Within 24 Hours: Full fare will be charged for cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup.

Flight Changes and Waiting Time

  • Notification: To avoid full cancellation charges, please notify our dispatch office 5 hours prior to pick up for any flight changes.
  • Grace Periods:
    • Domestic Flights: 45-minute grace period from the actual landing time. Waiting time is charged at $1.00 per minute after this period.
    • International Flights: 60-minute grace period from the actual landing time. Waiting time is charged at $1.00 per minute after this period.
    • Non-Airport Pickups: 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, the driver will wait half an hour, and if there is no response, it will be considered a show.

No-Shows

If you do not see your chauffeur at the designated pickup point, please call the dispatch office immediately. If you leave or depart without contacting us, you will be charged for the full price of the ride or a no-show fee. The chauffeur will wait up to 15 minutes at regular pickups and up to 45 minutes at airport pickups. A “No Show” fee, equivalent to the trip cost plus any applicable waiting time, will be charged if the passenger does not arrive at the designated location.

Rescheduling and Communication

Rescheduling is available 5 hours prior to your reservation. Please ensure your cell phone is on so you can receive text messages from the chauffeur after landing. Failure to communicate with the chauffeur may result in the termination of your reservation.

Additional Fees

  • Clean-Up Fee: $150 for drink spills, vomit, or any other damages requiring vehicle detailing.
  • Damage Fee: The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to the vehicle caused during the rental period.
  • Sanitation Fee: $250 for extensive cleaning requirements.
  • Detailing and was: $150 detailing and was due to sickness-exterior.
  • Alcohol and Drug Use: Prohibited by law and will result in termination of the ride without a refund.
  • Smoking: Not permitted in any of our vehicles as per NYC TLC regulations.
  • Parking Fees: After the allowed time for meet and greet at the airports, customers will be liable for the extra parking time.

Liability and Safety

We are not liable for delays or termination of service due to unsafe road conditions (such as snow accident construction, Mechanical problems, etc.). We are not responsible for articles left in the vehicle. Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond their seating and loading capacity. We are not responsible for any items left in our vehicles.

Pets

Only service animals with valid tags are allowed in our vehicles. Pets must be in a carrier or call our dispatcher and discuss the best option possible.

Payment and Disputes

  • Credit Card Transactions: Only authorization is taken to guarantee funds. The final charge will be applied after the trip.
  • Disputes: All disputes must be submitted in writing within 15 days of the charge date.
  • Collection Fees: The client will be charged all legal fees related to collecting payments due in cases of non-payment.

Rates and Charges

  • Hourly Rates: Packages of vehicles rented hourly with certain minimums and zone restrictions.
  • Tolls: The customer is responsible for all round-trip toll charges.
  • Meet & Greet: We charge a $30.00 meet & greet service for sedans and SUVs. Parking and waiting time charges apply after the grace period. For sprinters and stretch limos, contact our dispatcher about the rates.

Subcontracting policy

Soho Express Transportation reserves the right to subcontract any service booked and confirmed with Soho Express Transportation to our affiliates.
